Click through the Google Drive folder for resources and assets for your use during May. You can download and share social media graphics to post on your channels or use in other ways, like a community newsletter, bulletin board, classroom, or other method. Recognition of Jewish American Heritage Month is a commitment to a more inclusive and respectful society. Let’s make this Jewish American Heritage Month one for the books!

For social posting, use any/all of the hashtags to connect to the national celebration #OurSharedHeritage #MyJAHM #JAHM #JewishAmericanHeritageMonth. Please tag or mention @weitzmanmuseum whenever possible so that we can most easily find your content and share it on our channels as well.

Resource Guide
  • This downloadable Resource Guide offers information on ways to engage, how to be a JAHM advocate, talking points, and more!
JAHM Logos
  • There is a “Proud Partner” logo in the kit — full color, black, and white
  • If you’re organizing or are part of a JAHM event in your community, be sure to include that it’s in celebration of JAHM to help raise awareness and let them know you’re a proud JAHM partner. Feel free to use these logos.
Posters
  • There is a “proud partner”-branded info poster which offers a JAHM-at-a-Glance snapshot and general information.
  • Find school posters at jewishamericanheritage.org/posters.
  • The “school posters” are geared towards educators in classrooms and school libraries but available to all who are interested
  • The posters feature individuals from across disciplines throughout American Jewish history whose names or work you know and who have had an impact on broader American society and culture. Each poster links via QR code to the JAHM educator site with companion resources for in-classroom learning as well as professional learning.
Social Posts & Graphics: JAHM Starts Now & Evergreen Assets

Assets to help you launch JAHM on May first and a variety of “I/We Celebrate” assets and more to use throughout the month to let your audience now that JAHM is here.

  • There are animated graphics and static images
  • There is also a static graphic with room to add your logo
  • To add your logo, choose and download the PNG in your preferred color from the assets at the bottom of the tab.
  • Overlay your organization’s logo, we recommend using a reversed-out (white) vector logo that complements the colored asset chosen.
  • We also want you to share how you JAHM at your organization and in your community. Use this opportunity to lift up Jewish American history, heritage, and culture in the way that’s most relevant to your organization.

  • Join us in sharing facts from throughout Jewish American history. Please note: use of the assets with images REQUIRE THE IMAGE CREDIT LISTED in your caption.
Social Posts & Graphics: “Read, Watch, Listen, Make”
  • These assets feature highlights from the wide range of Jewish cultural offerings found on big and small screens, in libraries and on e-readers, and in the kitchen.
  • You can share these highlight posts on your social channels, or forward them to your book club, or just scroll through the larger lists on the JAHM site and dive in for your own enjoyment!

Jewish American Heritage Month
