- Colonel Frank Cohn – a refugee from Germany as a young boy, Cohn joined the U.S. Army and arrived in France shortly after D Day, participating in the Battle of the Bulge. He continued to serve through the Vietnam War.
- Corporal Harold Terens – served with the 350th Fighter Squadron, 8th Air Force in the UK, France, North Africa and Ukraine with Eisenhower shuttle bombing program.
- Corporal Al Jacobs – served with the Army Air Forces in India, supporting the dangerous Hump route serving Allied forces in China and Burma
